Each year approximately 1,500 children are born with spina bifida, a birth defect affecting the spine. But at 28, photography-lover David doesn’t let this condition and being confined to a wheelchair hold him back from experiencing life to the fullest.
“Adoption and missions were for ‘those people.’ Radicals. People who always had a ‘heart for the nations.’ That wasn’t me,” remembers Wynn. But through the heartache of infertility and researching other options, Wynn and Stephen discovered God’s perfect plan for their family would take them on a radical journey that ruined them in the most glorious way forever.

On his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, SSG Travis Mills was critically injured on April 10, 2012 by an IED while on patrol. Due to the explosion, SSG Mills lost portions of both legs and both arms but he did not lose his spirit.
