On March 31, over 150 people gathered at the Palace Theater in Grapevine, Texas to support Fotolanthropy and our mission to celebrate stories of hope and those who have defied great odds. We are beyond thankful for our hosts of the night, Ben and Candace Randolph, who put together an incredible Gala. It did not come at a coincidence that we were all together on Good Friday to celebrate.
Many people filed in through the doors of the theater and into a red carpet waiting for them. Movie posters of Fotolanthropy’s previous films filled the space as people began to mingle over the night.
As a surprise, Ben and Candace Randolph awarded Katie with the “World Changer” award, which was presented by Baylor University President Dr. Linda Livingstone. Check out the video below:

It was an honor to have SSG Travis Mills as the keynote speaker for the event. Travis shared his story and gratitude toward Fotolanthropy through his experience with his film, Travis: A Soldier’s Story.
We are grateful for Mayor Laura Wheat and Mayor Nick Sanders for their attendance and support to Fotolanthropy and our new feature film, 7 Yards: The Chris Norton Story.
Through the night, there was a one of a kind silent auction that allowed people to bid on film experiences to have the opportunity to have a cameo in the film! Some other great auction items were to be a director for the day with our very own Jonathon Link and to play a young Chris Norton.
We were blown away by the energy and generosity surrounding the silent auction. At the end of the night, we showed the trailer of Travis: A Soldier’s Story and released the trailer of Fotolanthropy’s newest feature film, 7 Yards: A Chris Norton Story.
