A typical third trimester ultrasound gave Rachel and Charlie the devastating news that their daughter had HPE, a brain malformation, and would likely not make it to birth, much less survive the birth process. But as Rachel completed her c-section she would hear the most beautiful cry and “Baby Jane” would do more than anyone ever imagined.
