On September 3, 2011 Beth and Mark welcomed son William, the perfect little brother for sister Charolette. But just one month following William’s birth, a series of trips to the hospital, testing, and meetings with doctors would reveal that he had SMA Type 1 – a muscle disease for which there is little treatment and no cure. As Beth and Mark ventured into the unknown for William’s future and a life of living in hospitals, they learned to value the incredible blessing of each new day.
Becky’s third pregnancy seemed perfectly normal. But as soon as Titus was born, the list of disabilities doctors began to name to her and husband Paul seemed to grow longer by the hour. Yet in the midst of constant uncertainty, the Daily family has discovered Titus has so much to teach them about the unexpected joy found in life’s challenges.

Our very first Fotolanthropy story began with a simple phone call from a young mother, requesting a few family portraits with her husband and 8-month-old son at Children’s Hospital in Dallas. This story that started it all made us realize just how precious our photographs can really be.
