This Christmas season, Fotolanthropy is excited to team up with KiddNation and KissFM for their annual “Breaking and Entering” Holiday surprise! Each year, the crew at the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning Show chooses deserving families, and – with the help of their family and friends -“breaks” into their home to surprise them with everything from toys, household items and more!
One of this year’s recipients is the Carretero Family. In September the Carretero’s tragically lost their oldest daughter in an automobile accident. Just one month later, they came home on Halloween to find their house in flames. Sponsors like Toys R Us, Best Buy, Rooms to Go and Pier One Imports have lined up to bless this deserving family with both necessities and the gift of some incredible memories. Fotolanthropy will be gifting the family with a professional portrait session, and Fotocrew member Angelina Norris of The Rustie Nail Creative Studio was also able to be there to capture the big surprise this Tuesday. Angelina shared these words from her experience:
“Thank you so much for this opportunity. I may have cried all over again while I edited them but it truly was a beautiful experience and I am so thankful to have been a part of it. The family is so very excited to have new photos for their home despite the tragedies that they have endured this past year.”
Checkout the photos from Angelina and video from KiddNation of big the surprise below. You can head on over to the KiddNation website to listen to the entire recap broadcast. Stay tuned for more on this story from Fotolanthropy!
