Following the loss of her husband LCDR Dale due to the CG 6535 helicopter accident, Teresa found herself the single mother of two boys. As they continue to navigate the waters of grief, Teresea and her sons Evan and Emmett chose a special way to remember their heroic husband and father.
When an ultrasound revealed that their daughter had extra fluid in her brain creating an enlarged head, doctors told Dean and Susan that Ella would likely not live. But refusing to leave any possibility unexplored, Ella would not only live – but thrive!
As Jaci pulled up to her son Sam’s baseball practice, she opened the rear door of her car to find her toddler Daniel limp and blue. After being rushed to the ICU at Children’s Hospital in Dallas, doctors discovered Daniel had pulmonary hypertension and would possibly not make it through the night. But the fighting spirit of this little boy would prove an inspiration to his mother and everyone who meets him.

On April 3, 2012 a tornado ripped through Royse City. As the Cripps family huddled in their closet as the thundering roar grew louder, they had no idea what the next moments would hold. But the Cripps learned that with God’s grace, there is nothing so broken that it can’t be put back together.
A typical 13-year-old girl may spend her time enjoying shopping, cheerleading and hanging out with her friends. But while Ashton is doing all this she is also undergoing a 20-year chemotherapy treatment program to fight her leukemia.
On September 3, 2011 Beth and Mark welcomed son William, the perfect little brother for sister Charolette. But just one month following William’s birth, a series of trips to the hospital, testing, and meetings with doctors would reveal that he had SMA Type 1 – a muscle disease for which there is little treatment and no cure. As Beth and Mark ventured into the unknown for William’s future and a life of living in hospitals, they learned to value the incredible blessing of each new day.
